Our History
Founded in October 1991 by the Government of Shanghai Municipality, the Shanghai Foreign Investment Service Center (SFISC) is aimed at improving investment climate in Shanghai and promoting the opening-up of Shanghai and the development of Pudong New Area. With the further development of the reform and opening-up progress, Shanghai Foreign Investment Service Center was changed into Shanghai Foreign Investment Service Center Co., Ltd in the January of 2005.
For 16 years by now we have kept on providing whole-course, multi-level and efficient services for overseas investors.
In recent years, our service reach expends to the whole area of the Yangtze River Delta thanks to our close cooperation with all the authorities and the industrial parks in the area, While our advisory service range extends more systematically, that includes not only industrial policy consulting, registration procedures agent, but also includes VC/PE advisory service, management consulting and public relation consulting, etc.
Our VC/PE advisory service includes industrial policy consulting, registration agent, industrial research, feasibility study, agent on acquisition and merger. Moreover, for the enterprises that need finance, we can provide the service as an agent that draft business plan for our clients and search for their potential investment partners based on the cooperative relationship with Domestic and international Venture Capital/Private Equity funds.
 
From 1995 to 2007, SFISC was successively awarded for 7 times as the Reputable Consulting Enterprise (Organization) of Shanghai by Shanghai Technology Commission and Shanghai Consultant Association.
Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC awarded SFISC the Most Improved IPA in Asia-pacific area, the Best Secondary Investment by an IPA and the Best IPA in Attracting R&D Investment for the year 2003.
