Since its inception in October 1991, Shanghai Foreign Investment Service Center (SFISC) has been surfing the wave of Chinese reform for 13 years, witnessing Shanghai marching to a world metropolis.

        Backed by the municipal government, SFISC has been dedicated to introducing foreign investment into China market over the past decade. Apart from a number of multinational corporations, many foreign small and medium-sized enterprises founded their Chinese businesses in Shanghai. The total pledged direct foreign investments, to which the SFISC served as consultant or agent, amounted to 4 billion US dollars. For its function and achievements in promoting foreign investment, SFISC was awarded in 2003 three prizes by the Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC, who entitled every year 20 prizes to investment promotion agencies in Asia-Pacific area. In 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2003, SFISC was successively awarded the Reputable Consulting Enterprise (Organisation) of Shanghai by Shanghai Technology Commission and Shanghai Consultancy Association.

        While China is welcoming a grand period full of opportunities and Shanghai as a modern international metropolis becoming a center of international economy, finance, trade as well as transportation, SFISC is ready for new challenges. Based on our reputation, network and human resources built up along these years, we will continue to broaden our service categories and improve our service quality. Not only will we enhance our core consulting services for foreign investors in policies and process of direct investment, but we will also provide more profound information and professional services in investment banking. Further, we will expand consulting services to domestic enterprises in reforming business organization, raising fund in international capital market and investing in overseas market.
